HostViber Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident when ordering from HostViber. This policy explains which services may qualify for a refund, which services are non-refundable, and how to request a refund.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to services purchased from HostViber. Refund eligibility depends on the product ordered, the billing term, the payment method, whether the service has already been provisioned, and whether the account has complied with our Terms and Conditions.
This policy does not limit any legal rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
2. 15-Day Money-Back Guarantee
HostViber offers a 15-day money-back guarantee for eligible shared hosting and related web hosting services.
If you are not satisfied with an eligible hosting service, you may request a refund within 15 days of the original order date.
The 15-day money-back guarantee applies only to eligible hosting services. It does not apply to domains, VPS, dedicated servers, SSL certificates, third-party licenses, or custom services.
3. Services That May Qualify for Refund
The following services may qualify for a refund within 15 days, provided the account has not violated our Terms and Conditions:
- Shared hosting plans.
- WordPress hosting plans.
- Reseller hosting plans.
- Cloud hosting plans.
- Related eligible web hosting services clearly marked as refundable at checkout.
4. Non-Refundable Services
Some services involve third-party costs, instant provisioning, licensing, registration, setup, or reserved infrastructure. These services are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or specifically agreed in writing by HostViber.
- Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers.
- SSL certificates.
- Dedicated IP addresses.
- Third-party software licenses and paid add-ons.
- Google Workspace, email security, SiteLock, SpamExperts, or similar third-party services.
- Setup fees, admin fees, migration fees, management fees, or custom work.
- Promotional, discounted, or special-order services marked as non-refundable.
Payment Processor Fees
Some payment providers, including PayPal and card processors, may not refund their transaction fees when a refund is processed. Where a payment processor does not return its processing fee, the non-refundable processor fee may be deducted from the refund amount.
If a refund is issued because HostViber is unable to deliver the service ordered, we may refund the eligible service payment in full, excluding any fees or charges that are outside our control unless required by applicable law.
5. VPS and Dedicated Server Refunds
VPS and dedicated servers are normally non-refundable once provisioned, activated, delivered, or assigned to the customer.
This is because server resources may be reserved, configured, licensed, or deployed specifically for the order.
- VPS services are non-refundable after provisioning.
- Dedicated servers are non-refundable after provisioning.
- Server setup fees and management fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds may be considered only if HostViber is unable to deliver the ordered service.
6. Cryptocurrency Payments
Payments made with cryptocurrency are normally refunded as account credit only.
This is because cryptocurrency transactions may involve exchange-rate changes, blockchain fees, confirmation delays, and settlement limitations outside HostViber's control.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please open a support ticket from your HostViber client area within the eligible refund period.
- Log in to your HostViber client area.
- Open a support ticket with the Billing Department.
- Include your service name, invoice number, and reason for the refund request.
- Wait for our billing team to review and respond to your request.
8. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are usually processed within 5 to 10 business days. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card provider, payment processor, or payment method.
Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method where possible. If this is not possible, HostViber may issue the refund as account credit.
9. Abuse, Fraud, and Policy Violations
Refunds will not be issued for services suspended or terminated because of abuse, fraud, spam, phishing, malware, chargeback abuse, copyright abuse, illegal activity, or violation of our Terms and Conditions.
HostViber reserves the right to deny refund requests where the service has been misused or where the request is connected to fraudulent or harmful activity.
